Demopolis, Alabama Christmas on the River  The night river parade begins with the COTR elves welcoming the thousands of specatators viewing the glittering pageant from the grandstands on the white bluffs that outline the Tombigbee River. Thousands of lights make up the "floats that float" such as this depiction of one of the many paddlewheel steam boats that used to travel this beautiful river.  |
